FAQ's
Everything you need to know about shopping, shipping, customs, and how CSS eStore makes it easy.
General Shipping
Q: What is CSS eStore and how does it work?
A: CSS eStore is a freight forwarding service that gives you a free U.S. mailing address. You shop online, ship to your U.S. address, and we bring your packages to Jamaica using ocean freight.
Q: What does "weightless shipping" mean?
A: We charge based on volume (cubic feet), not weight. That means heavier packages don’t automatically cost more — you only pay for the space they occupy.
Q: How long does shipping take from the U.S. to Jamaica?
A: Our shipments leave Florida every Friday and are typically ready for collection at our Old Hope Road office within 7 business days. Bear in mind that the timeline doesn’t take into consideration Customs Clearance delays, however, we keep you updated every step of the way.
Q: Can I ship anything through CSS eStore?
A: Almost anything — but there are restrictions. Please see the Customs & Prohibited Items section below.
Q: Do I need to pre-alert my packages?
A: Yes. Pre-alerting your packages helps us process and clear them faster. You can log in to your account and pre-alert with the tracking number and invoice.
